Day 1 is dedicated to the WHY: UNDERSTANDING TERMINOLOGY MANAGEMENT FOR TRANSLATION. Why Terminology Theory is important for translators? Why professional terminology management is crucial for the quality of translations?

Day 2 is about the WHAT:  TERMINOLOGY MANAGEMENT FOR TRANSLATION. What translators should know from the very beginning of their academic education, and what is terminology management for translation purposes.

Day 3 is about the HOW:  TERMINOLOGY MANAGEMENT FOR THE TRANSLATION BUSINESS. Terminology tools, case studies and scenarios for translators. The costs of terminology management, and legal issues involved in terminology.

Day 4 is the highlight of TSS 20222, the practical application of the WHY, WHAT and HOW of Terminology Management: Your colleagues and peers from all over the world will present their own terminology projects. This is the oral exam to qualify as ECQA Certified Terminology Manager.
